The Prophet Muhammad (saws) and The Bedouin Father

Like many of us know, the Prophet Muhammad (saws) always enjoyed the company of children. One day, he was sitting with a crowd of them, talking to them. Every now and then, he patted some of them on the head and kissed them.

The children were delighted at the love, which the Prophet (saws) bestowed on them. The youngest children were especially pleased because they knew that whenever the Prophet got the season’s new fruit, he usually gave it to the youngest.

Suddenly, a Bedouin appeared close by. He stood watching the Prophet (saws) surrounded by happy, laughing children. It was the sort of scene that makes most people smile and feel happy. But the Bedouin was not smiling. He was not at all happy, and when he spoke the Prophet discovered why I have ten children the Bedouin said but I have never kissed any of them.

This was a terrible thing. The Prophet (saws) felt great sorrow for the unfortunate Bedouin. To have ten children ten gifts from Allah and not love them of show them love was very sad indeed. Loving and caring for dear ones is a blessing from Allah, and the Bedouin did not know that blessing.

The Prophet (saws) wanted to help the man but he knew there was a great obstacle in the way. How can I help you the Prophet said if Allah has taken away all the love and kindness from your heart?

At this the Bedouin felt even sadder before for to receive help and advice from the Prophet (saws) was a wonderful thing, and this is what he could not receive. But on reflection he also realized that he could become kind and loving. He would deserve getting help from the Prophet and deserve more from Allah.

How to make your children pray on their own

HERE'S A NARRATIVE FROM A SISTER

My Daughter was 12 years old and prayer was like heavy burden on her, So I told her to pray one day and I monitored her. She took the carpet and

threw it on the ground. I asked her if she prayed - she said yes - Believe me, without feeling I slapped her face - I know I made a mistake. The situation has troubled me and I cried and I repent to God to forgive me.. The slap, the talk, the reminders did not make a difference to my child.
One day A friend told me a story. She went to one of her friends for a visit. Her friend was not very religious, but when the Adhan prayer was called, her children rushed for prayers without reminders or quarrel. I said to her how does your children pray on themselves without quarrel or a reminder? She said, before I got married I used to pray this Dua and stil pray it today.
After she told me the Du'a, I began to recite it in every Sujud in my prayers and anytime I could. Since I began to recite the Du'a my daughter is now the first to prayer without reminders or quarrels. She got up in Fajr prayer (subh) without any alarms. And all her brothers are now eager in praying without any difficulties.
I know You are now eager to know this Supplication Du'a..
The Supplication is in Surah Ibrahim 14:40.
And the Supplication is...
O my Lord! make me one who establishes regular Prayer, and also (raise such) among my offspring O our Lord! and accept Thou my Prayer.
Ameen..
Start today do not wait until you get married and until you have kids, prevention is better than cure.
For those who are already married, children learn fast by imitating their parents. So as a father or mother the moment it's time for prayers, start performing ablution and rush to Masjid in sha Allah our children will do the same.
Don't forget to recite this Du'a as well;
رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ ذُرِّيَّةً طَيِّبَةً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعَاءِ
May Allah (SWT) continue to bless us with pious children and abundance lawful means to manage all their demands.
Amin
